Provincial Council Meeting

On the occasion of our 40th Anniversary, CFUW Sherbrooke and District was pleased to host the CFUW Quebec Provincial Council Meeting, on Saturday April 26th, 2008, at Bishop’s University. We welcomed the Vice-President Quebec and Incoming CFUW President, the Regional Directors, as well as club presidents and delegates. There was a morning and afternoon session and a lunch featuring a guest speaker, Dr. Cheryl Gosselin, of the Sociology Department of Bishop’s University. This was a great opportunity to learn more about the other Quebec clubs, their agendas, activities and fundraisers. Partial registration was available for members of Sherbrooke & District who wished to attend only the morning session and/or the lunch.
