Public speaking contest

An annual public speaking contest is organized among the local English-speaking high schools and held in late April/ early May at Bandeen Hall of Bishop’s University. Schools include Alexander Galt Regional High School, Bishop’s College School, Massey Vanier Regional High School, Richmond Regional High School and Stanstead College. All participants receive a certificate and the winners and runners-up at both the junior and senior levels receive a plaque. Speeches are aired on CBC Radio.
