Public speaking contest

An annual public speaking contest is organized among the local English-speaking high schools and held in late April/ early May. Schools include Bishop’s College School, Massey Vanier Regional High School, Richmond Regional High School and Stanstead College. All participants receive a certificate and the winners and runners-up at both the junior and senior levels receive a plaque. Speeches are aired on CBC Radio.

This year the competition was held on May 14 at 4:30 pm at the Amédée-Beaudoin Community Centre, Lennoxville. More information may be obtained from the Education Chair.
